Great model. I really appreciated the step by step directions. There is one thing I found out while working with the "tar paper" material. It is impossible to cut with a knife and I tried several different ones. I tried using a pair of scissors and it cut like butter - no frayed edges. I'm now working on the Tobacconist Building. Wonderful kits, Rusty Stumps company/personnel are a pleasure to work with.
Boarding House

Basically a great kit. However, there are a few mistakes in the otherwise fine book/manual. On page 19, the second note says the front windows don't get sills but picture 4B-4 shows otherwise. On page 22, it references W10 when it should be W11. I caught this just in time as I was trying to enlarge the opening. Page 72 says use 2X6 trim, but there is none supplied; however there is plenty of 2X10 that I never did find a use for. Finally, I switched to black paper for the tar paper - your's was almost impossible for me to work with, don't know what I was doing wrong. These are almost in the category of nit picks on an otherwise fine kit. Keep it up.

interesting kit

This is the first kit of this type thst I have worked on. Was easy to build, long as you read instructions first and take your time. Only problem I had was with some of the small cuts, stubby fingers, from being in the Army 30 yrs., plays havoc with your hands. Lot more fun then the run-of-the-mill plastic kits. Purchased the next kit, and looking forward to starting that one. I give it 5 stars.
One Sweet Kit

I am almost done with this kit and it has been a joy to build. The materials and instructions are excellent. The instructions are so well written it is like having a master builder next to you telling you how to proceed. I am enjoying this kit a lot and look forward to building the Tobacconist. Keep up the good work Rusty Stumps.
