The Wharf measures a whopping 127 feet long and is 22 feet wide when the on land spur track is taken into account. The siding will be individual clapboards on all sides but the front. The front will be vertical board 'n batten siding. Roofing will be Rusty Stumps laser cut shingles. KELLEY'S BOARDING HOUSE KIT In stock and shipping. Kelley's Boarding House is sort of a rambling late 1800's early 1900's type building. There are rooms to let on the second floor with two commercial rentable sections on the first. There are also entrances for the commercial renters on the backside of the building. KELLEY'S LANDING AT FALL CREEK

Jack Kelley came to the Fall Creek area in the mid 1800's and settled where the Fall Creek entered the White River. Here he set up a small store and boarding house. It wasn't much longer before the saw mill, lumbering and mining entered the area and his boarding house became the center of attention. Around 1900 Jack built the new Boarding House seen above and it wasn't too long before he sold land to other enterprising businessmen. Soon to follow were a Gun Shop/Post Office, the I.O.O.F Hall with a Pool Hall on the first floor, then a Hardware Emporium and last a General Merchandise Store that sold just about everything the Hardware didn't. Being so close to the White River a wharf was built for small schooners and barges with rails from the Fall Creek RR laid beside it.
