About Rusty Stumps Scale Models -

Rusty Stumps Scale Models started in 2002 by offering cast resin stumps for model railroaders building logging railroads. We have expanded our offerings first with the On30 Logging Disconnects and now with the installation of our Laser/Engraver we are expanding our line with other fine scale building kits.

Background: Walt Gillespie has had experience in the graphic arts field and has also worked providing architectural designing as well as product engineering. Always having an interest in model railroading he returned to the hobby in 2000 and thus Rusty Stumps Scale Models was born.

White Metal Items

We announced a cut back in our white metal castings due to a extreme increase in metal costs. Luckily we have found a new source for white metal at our older, 2006, prices. With that we have re-introduced our white metal car frames.
