NEWEST RELEASE The Sixth and last kit in the KELLEY'S LANDING SERIES THE MERCHANTILE STORE KITS STARTED SHIPPING JUNE 29, 2010 The M. Chambers Merchantile Store is the last in the six kit series called Kelley's Landing. This kit will be a departure from previous kit produced by Rusty Stumps in that the main building, the store, will consist of 4 highly detailed resin castings. These castings slot together with almost invisible joints. There is cast in detail front and back. There will also be a wrap-around loading dock and lean-to building that will be stick built. The roof will be seamed metal. Custom dry transfer lettering for the name will be provided. NOTE: that is the correct 1900's spelling of "Merchantile" as it was on the original model as built by Al Amitage. The 'h' was later dropped in more modern times. PRICE $94.95 +s/h	Watch for the FREE BONUS KIT That's right, a FREE kit when you have purchased 1 of each of the six kits in the Kelley's Landing Series of kits. The free kit will be Pete's Boat House and Bait Shop and should be ready to ship around Jan. 1, 2011 This kit will also be one of our standard kits but will be provided FREE to all who have purchased the entire series of Kelley's landing Series kits. Six kits total. We have records of all purchases and the kits will be automatically shipped once it is ready. This will be a fun kit with lots of boats, motors and other such items one would find around a typical boat rental and bait shop. The building will be two story with an inside repair/stowage area. So, if you like doing interior detailing you can leave the big double doors open and add all kinds of machinery and equipment to the scene. It will be all stick-built as was Mike's original diorama. We liked Mikes work so much on this we purchased the rights to make it a kit last Fall
The Fifth kit in the KELLEY'S LANDING SERIES THE PAWN SHOP IN STOCK and SHIPPING The Pawn Shop is a rather misused building. When built the owners took real pride in it, but now it's gone into some disrepair. The paint is peeling as is the signs. But, the current occupant keeps on going, pocketing his profits to retire in Florida some day, although, that's a rather fancy car he has parked in the garage out back..
